History

10 July 1990, Amman (Jordan), as as Arab Management Society (AMS), following meeting, 29 Aug 1989, New York NY (USA). Later known as Arab Knowledge Management Society (AKMS). 2015, present name adopted.

Aims

Utilize modern management and technology to effectively develop Arab capabilities; derive social and economic value from organization knowledge resources; increase ability of organizations to efficiently harness the tacit and explicit knowledge in its organization for economic benefit; disseminate information useful to this pursuit; seek development of the Arab Knowledge Society at large.

Organizes conferences; conducts several seminars a year to disseminate modern management techniques and principles to members; collaborates with management associations in different countries so as to exchange ideas and gain recognition for members.
