Promote and secure throughout the world understanding and observance of the UN Declaration of Human Rights; carry out research in the field of human rights, fundamental freedoms and world peace; monitor and publicize human rights violations and seek redress; prepare and publish in depth studies on specific aspects of human rights and violations thereof; collaborate with and sponsor other organizations, including proposals for improved procedures and conventions for protecting human rights, fundamental freedoms and world peace.
