The UIA is a leading provider of information about international non-profit organizations. The aim of the Open Yearbook is to promote the activities of international non-governmental organizations (INGOs) and intergovernmental organizations (IGOs).

History

May 1999, The Hague (Netherlands), when launched at conference organized by Hague Appeal for Peace (HAP). Based at Coalition for the International Criminal Court (CICC). Assumed to be terminated, when ICC was set up 2002.

Activities

Worked to encourage ratification of the treaty setting up International Criminal Court (ICC), adopted by 120 of the 148 nations represented at the 'United Nations Conference of Plenipotentiaries on the Establishment of an International Criminal Court', 15 June to 17 July 1998, Rome (Italy).
