Jun 1975, Jeddah (Saudi Arabia), as a Specialized Committee of C-XC4129 - Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), on recommendation of the 6th K-XF4192 - Council of Foreign Ministers (CFM). At the 10th Conference of Islamic Foreign Ministers, 1979, Fez (Morocco), King Hassan II of Morocco accepted the Chairmanship. Reconstituted 1981. Has also been referred to as Jerusalem Committee -- Comité de Jérusalem.
Study the situation Al-Quds - Jerusalem (Israel); follow the implementation of related resolutions by OIC; follow the implementation of resolutions adopted by various international bodies on Jerusalem; put forward proposals to Member States and concerned bodies on measures to ensure implementation of these resolutions and cope with new situations.
