1978, with the name European Cooperative Research Network on Pasture and Fodder Crops, as part of F-XF5077 - European System of Cooperative Research Networks in Agriculture (ESCORENA) within B-XB0971 - FAO, through its European Commission on Agriculture (ECA), and with the support of E-XF3184 - Centre international de hautes études agronomiques méditerranéennes (CIHEAM). Subsequently changed title to FAO/CIHEAM Interregional Cooperative Research Network on Pasture and Fodder Crops.
Study and improve forage crop production on irrigated and rain-fed land, development and management of typically Mediterranean rangelands; study forage feeding value.
