History
Early 1940s, UK, within the framework of Graduates' Fellowship of IVF, currently 'Universities and Colleges Christian Fellowship (UCCF)'. After being referred to by various names became Research Scientists' Christian Fellowship (RSCF) in 1950. Current title adopted in 1988; became financially independent from UCCF in 1996. UK Registered Charity 1121422.
Aims
Develop and promote biblical Christian views on the nature, scope and limitations of science, and on the changing interactions between science and faith; bring biblical Christian thought on scientific issues into the public arena; encourage Christians in scientific work to maintain an active faith and apply it in their professional lives; communicate the gospel within the scientific community; stimulate responsible Christian attitudes and action in care for the environment; help students to integrate religious beliefs and scientific studies.
