1964, Chicago IL (USA), following the 1954 resolution of the World Council of Churches meeting held in Chicago IL (USA) to create a training centre for lay persons based on the model of the Ecumenical Institute in Bossey (Switzerland) which led to the creation, 1956, of the Evanston Institute of Ecumenical Studies.
