Subsequently changed title to Organization for Nordic Electric Power Cooperation -- Union des pays nordiques pour la coopération dans l'industrie électrique -- Organisasjon for Nordisk Elsamarbeid -- Organization for Nordisk Esamarbejde -- Energiahuollon Pohjoismainen Yhteistyöelin. Most recent bylaws approved at Annual Meeting, 30 Jun 2000. From 2000-2009 responsible for Nordic Transmission System (TSOs). As of 1 Jul 2009, merged with D-XD7234 - European Network of Transmission System Operators for Electricity (ENTSO-E).

Aims

Promote the development of a seamless Nordic electricity market as an integrated part of the North-West European electricity market; maintain a high level of security in the Nordic power system; act as a contact forum between the Transmission System Operators (TSOs), authorities and market players in the Nordic countries.
