During its lifetime, instrumental in setting up: H-XH0038 - University of East Africa; H-XH4592 - Inter-University Committee for East Africa; H-XH2684 - East African Posts and Telecommunications Administration, subsequently replaced by U-XU5576 - East African Posts and Telecommunications Corporation. Superseded, 6 Jun 1967, Kampala (Uganda), by H-XH0472 - East African Community - 1967 (EAC), which disintegrated in 1977. Formal cooperation recommenced, 14 Mar 1996, Arusha, with the establishment of F-XD6196 - East African Community (EAC).
