Promote the study, origin and causes of thromboembolic diseases, their diagnosis, prophylaxis and treatment; unite professional interest in thrombosis and haemostasis from basic to clinical sciences via multidisciplinary collaboration, in all countries considered geographically, culturally or historically part of the Mediterranean area; progressively incorporate all Mediterranean countries into the League.
