The UIA is a leading provider of information about international non-profit organizations. The aim of the Open Yearbook is to promote the activities of international non-governmental organizations (INGOs) and intergovernmental organizations (IGOs).


Founded Sep 1958, Kitwe (Northern Rhodesia, now Zambia). Successor to Copperbelt Christian Service Committee (CCSC), set up in 1956, which in turn was successor to United Missions to the Copperbelt (UMC), formed 1935, Kitwe. As of 2016, assumed ceased to exist.


Serve the community through training, study, consultation and worship as an agency of change and reconciliation in Christian response to the needs of the world and especially to those in Africa and other third world countries.
