Founded 28 Jul 1992, when statutes approved "ad experimentum et ad quinquennium" by E-XF2610 - Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples (CEP).
Aims
Promote and defend the common good; contribute to the common good of the Universal Church; promote well-being of the family of nations by drawing on cultural riches of the peoples of Oceania; give visible expression to unity in diversity; collegial spirit and strengthen solidarity among members; provide an ecclesial structure whereby the members of the 4 member-conferences can collaborate to carry out joint pastoral action for the faithful of their nations.
