8 Mar 1997, on the initiative of Jan Bengtsson, as a network of D-XD0516 - Nordic Educational Research Association (NERA). Became an independent society, 14 Mar 1998. Also referred to as Nordic Network for Philosophy of Education.
Aims
Foster dialogue among philosophers of education in the Nordic countries; coordinate, facilitate and support exchange of ideas, information and experiences in philosophy of education; encourage research in the field.
