European Network for Research, Development, Diffusion and Training in Computer-aided Manufacturing for the Textile and Apparel Industry (EUROCIT)
Act as a network to reinforce cooperation for development, training and information in the textile and clothing industries and in European research and universities; encourage the setting up of consortia; develop computerized industrial management and control systems, particularly for SMEs; promote standardization of materials and software in the European market; coordinate establishment of training programmes within different industries, universities and research institutes, particularly in the implementation of recent research results; assist in obtaining financial support for these activities; establish a framework for the renewal and promotion of textile and clothing industries to assist in exploiting computer-integrated manufacturing for small and medium-sized enterprises.
