International Cadmium Association (ICdA)
Founded 1994, on merger of H-XC5735 - Cadmium Association (CA), set up 1976 and U-XG0939 - Cadmium Council (CC), formed 1981. The component organizations no longer exist as such but continue to serve regional needs of their member companies as the European and North American Offices respectively.
Represent the specific cadmium interests of: nonferrous mining industry; producers, processors and distributors of cadmium; manufacturers and marketers of cadmium products; recyclers of cadmium. Further the interests of the industry by market development and by assessment of and response to regulatory and environmental health issues. Collect and disseminate technical information on the properties and uses of the metal, its alloys and compounds.
