Referred also to as IC. Registered in accordance with Belgian law. Ceased to exist 1 Jul 1993, on merger with U-XM1031 - INTERFRIGO - International Railway-owned Company for Refrigerated Transport, to form H-XF2826 - International Company for the Development of Combined Transport and of Controlled-Temperature Transport (Intercontainer-Interfrigo).
Attract to rail the largest possible share of traffic already containerized, primarily maritime traffic; endeavour, by offering a door-to-door service capable of application on a large scale, to maintain for rail traffic threatened by competitive transport methods and to win back to rail traffic already lost to competitors.
