History
Previously a constituent organization of U-XE3051 - International Instrumentation Evaluation Agreement Group (IIEAG), the other members of the group being G-XK0487 - Evaluation International (EI) and U-XK1466 - Users' Association of Measurement, Regulation and Automation Equipments. Cooperates with EI, EXERA, CLUI and NAMUR under the name NEWEC.
Aims
Provide tools enabling the use of quality process control instruments; stimulate development and availability of improved automation technology; encourage improvements in instrumentation; sponsor and undertake instrument evaluation programmes and produce guidance documents for members.
