Current title adopted, Edinburgh (UK), during the first International Congress of Reflective Practitioners of Pastoral Care and Counselling.
Aims
Promote reflective practice of pastoral care and counselling; through such care and counselling, respond to current needs and situations faced by people and communities worldwide; inform, educate and inspire practitioners in various contexts; enable practitioners to be resources for one another and to learn from each other's culture and traditions; support and advocate the unique and essential dimension of spirituality in teaching and practice; develop relevant theories in the field and engage in interdisciplinary discourse.
