The UIA is a leading provider of information about international non-profit organizations. The aim of the Open Yearbook is to promote the activities of international non-governmental organizations (INGOs) and intergovernmental organizations (IGOs).

Aims
Promote exchange of information and news on all questions of common interest to members, especially in matters of pensions, health, insurance and related questions; represent members' interests in their relations with the administration of the United Nations and of other organizations of the United Nations; represent members' interests with regard to the United Nations Joint Staff Pension Fund, and render advice, within the means available in matters of taxation, social security and other important concerns.

General Assembly (meets once a year). Committee, consisting of Chairman, Vice-Chairman, Secretary and 2 Treasurers.
