Established 3 Dec 2002, Kranjska Gora (Slovenia), by signature of the Framework Agreement on the Sava River Basin (FASRB). Agreement entered into force 29 Dec 2004. Constitution officially adopted, 27 Jun 2005.
Establish an international navigation regime on the Sava River and its navigable tributaries; establish sustainable water management; undertake measures to prevent and limit hazards and reduce and eliminate adverse consequences, including those from floods, ice hazards, droughts and incidents involving substances hazardous to water.
