1997, Vienna (Austria), as part of E-XE3574 - United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), when the latter was upgraded from the secretariat unit of E-XE7552 - United Nations Office at Vienna (UNOV), implementing F-XK2387 - United Nations Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice Programme Network. CICP is also referred to as Centre for International Crime Prevention. Comes within the framework of A-XA3375 - United Nations (UN). Completely merged into UNODC.
Aims
Work on crime prevention, criminal justice and criminal law reform; combat transnational organized crime, corruption and illicit trafficking in human beings.
