17 Apr 1990. Statutes adopted by General Assembly, 27-28 Aug 1990, Tunis (Tunisia). No longer exists.
Aims
Promote and encourage national professional associations; contribute to promotion and modernization of documentation organizations and institutes in member countries of the Francophone Summit; improve the status of the profession and the recognition of professional qualifications; encourage training and recycling.
