Apr 1988. Present name adopted 1992. Constitution adopted 1998. Also referred to as TEXERE Association. Dissolved as an independent organization, 2007, and reorganized as a Working Group within F-XF3970 - European Textile Network (ETN).
Establish and maintain a forum for debate and research that reflects the importance of textiles as a vital phenomenon in culture, education and society; collect, promote and disseminate information about textiles education; encourage research and exchange.
