as Association of West European Shipbuilders (AWES) -- Association des constructeurs de bateaux de l'Europe de l'Ouest -- Asociación de Constructores Navales de Europa Occidental (ACNEO). Merged with U-XE3660 - CESA Committee of EU Shipbuilders' Associations to form H-XJ3416 - Community of European Shipyards Associations (CESA), Jul 2004.

Aims

Intensify cooperation among shipyards of national member associations in Europe; promote interests of the industry in Europe and maintain and promote its activity in European countries; study matters facing the industry; participate in and/or promote studies.
