Be an alumni organization for UN internes and fellows; be a channel of communication between the UN and those it has services through internships and fellowships; rekindle interest of people in the UN and international affairs worldwide; give expression to the views of adherents on pertinent issues; use individual and collective member resources to promote, at international, regional, national and local levels through research, information and education to help improve public understanding of the principles, aims, purposes, activities and potentialities of the UN; support and encourage maintenance and further development of internship, fellowship and training programmes within the UN system.
