17 Jan 1997, when Israeli and Palestinian authorities signed the Protocol Concerning the Redeployment in Hebron; Agreement on the Temporary International Presence in the City of Hebron signed 21 Jan 1997. Memorandum of Understanding signed 30 Jan 1997, Oslo (Norway). Entered into force 1 Feb 1997. Mandate expired 31 Jan 2019.
As a civil observer mission stationed in Hebron, West Bank, promote through its presence a feeling of security to the Palestinians of Hebron and stability in the city.Available with paid subscription only.
