Founded 1976, Paris (France), within the framework of B-XB1490 - International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), as International Centre for Technical Expertise -- Centre international d'expertise technique. Previous rules, drawn up by ICC Commission on Arbitration, came into force 1 Jan 1993. The Revised ICC Rules for Expertises came into force 1 Jan 2003. Previously also known as ICC International Centre for Expertise -- Centre international d'expertise de la CCI.
Aims
Serve as the administrative body of the ICC that oversees the application of the ICC Amicable Dispute Resolution (ADR), Expertise, Dispute Boards and DOCDEX Rules.
