Founded May 1992, by D-XD5332 - Caribbean Association of Industry and Commerce (CAIC), F-XF5302 - West India Committee (WIC) and 'Private Sector Organization of Jamaica', following regional conferences held by these organizations: 1988, London (UK); 1989, Barbados; 1990, Jamaica; 1991, Brussels (Belgium); 1992, Curaçao; 1993, Santo Domingo (Dominican Rep). Original title: Caribbean Council for Europe (CCE) -- Conseil des Caraïbes pour l'Europe -- Consejo del Caribe para Europea -- Europarat der Karibik. Registered company, owned by a UK registered Charity, Caribbean Foundation, until 2010, when Charity ceased to operate. Current title adopted, 2002.
Support development of Caribbean and of Caribbean economic interests; provide specialist consultancy services to private companies, trade associations, governments, public sector organizations and regional and multilateral organizations in: international trade negotiations and regulatory affairs; export development and investment promotion; event and conference organization.
