1987, Japan, by Shoko Asahara. Also referred to simply as Aum. Registered, 1989, as a religious entity in accordance with Japanese law. As such, disbanded in Oct 1995, but still exists de facto. In 1998 reportedly earned 30 million pounds from discount computer stores. 2000, name changed to Aleph.
Take over Japan and subsequently the world, in part at least through terrorism.
