History
17 Sep 1987, on coming into force of an agreement signed, 19 Aug 1986, by the governments of the 5 Nordic countries and the Home Governments of the Faeroe Is and Greenland. Commenced operations Nov 1987.
Aims
Support development of a comprehensive and competitive economy in the West Nordic countries of Faeroe Is, Greenland and Iceland by providing loans, grants and guarantees to projects in connection with or for the benefit of small and medium enterprises; by this means encourage industrial and technical cooperation within the region and with other Nordic countries.
