The UIA is a leading provider of information about international non-profit organizations. The aim of the Open Yearbook is to promote the activities of international non-governmental organizations (INGOs) and intergovernmental organizations (IGOs).

History

as Centre for European Cooperation and Information, by B-XC1162 - International Amateur Theatre Association (AITA/IATA), according to a decision taken during General Assembly, Jul 1991, Halden (Norway). No activities reported since 2010.

Aims

Set up an effective European network of amateur theatre and related fields by: developing and improving communication and cooperation and supporting transnational and European projects; promoting and supporting European children's and youth exchange through theatre festivals and camps, workshops and encounters and by organizing European conferences for theatre experts and the European administrators of national centres and other members and associates of IATA/AITA; assisting with the planning and organizing of European, regional and national projects of amateur theatre, drama teaching and education; assisting and supporting amateur theatre in Central and Eastern Europe.
