The UIA is a leading provider of information about international non-profit organizations. The aim of the Open Yearbook is to promote the activities of international non-governmental organizations (INGOs) and intergovernmental organizations (IGOs).

History
1 Jan 1986, as a constituent society of U-XG1059 - Financial Analysts Federation (FAF), the latter having merged, 1 Jan 1990, with Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts (ICFA), to form G-XG4139 - CFA Institute. Ceased to exist.
Aims
Encourage and contribute to greater cooperation and coordination among worldwide professional investment organizations and their members; enhance available knowledge applicable to worldwide investment decision-making; provide an organization for qualified investment professionals to share international experience and technical knowledge; encourage and support members in enhancing the body of knowledge applicable to the investment decision-making process worldwide; work towards harmonization worldwide of regulatory and professional conduct standards.
