History

1959, Brussels (Belgium), as two separate Common Market Committees, one for nitrogenous fertilizers and one for phosphatic fertilizers. Merged in 1976 to form CMC-ENGRAIS. Subsequently, 1 Jan 1988, merged with H-XD0575 - European Nitrogen Producers' Association and U-XD2972 - Nitrogen Study Centre to form D-XD1719 - Fertilizers Europe.
