Founded 1989, on the initiative of associations of private-sector forestry owners.
Provide and circulate between members the technical, economic, tax, law and regulatory information regarding forest issues; unite, economically-speaking the forest cover represented by each member; contribute to the prevention of forest fires by developing silviculture through the spreading of forest techniques and wood market knowledge; develop training for the benefit of the members and promote scientific and economic research by encouraging exchanges.
