The UIA is a leading provider of information about international non-profit organizations. The aim of the Open Yearbook is to promote the activities of international non-governmental organizations (INGOs) and intergovernmental organizations (IGOs).

History

Founded 2 Sep 1996. As of 2016, assumed ceased to exist.

Aims

Provide services to all members of the family, particularly to poor children who otherwise would be on the street; help women to gain self-reliance and self esteem; train women for jobs; provide support for families to help them to stay together; take care of the aged members of the families serviced.

Activities

Provides autonomous day care centres for needy children. Provides pre-natal workshops for pregnant women and educational conferences for children and their families to give them promotion and education. Provides grants and advice to older people to help them build their own homes.
