Founded as Association for Investment Management and Research (AIMR), on merger of 'Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts (ICFA)' with U-XG1059 - Financial Analysts Federation (FAF), the latter having been formed in 1947, to coordinate activities of a number of financial analysts' organizations including U-XE5996 - International Society of Financial Analysts (ISFA).
Aims
Establish and enforce a code of ethics and professional conduct; act as the primary voice for the investment profession with regulatory and legislative bodies.
