Keep issues of HIV/AIDS in front of the church; link Lutherans who are active in HIV/AIDS ministries; promote HIV/AIDS education among Lutherans; provide clear and comprehensive information regarding prevention; advocate for the physical, emotional and spiritual health and human rights of people with HIV/AIDS; promote spiritual support for persons with HIV/AIDS; foster the development of communities of support for those engaged in HIV/AIDS ministries; serve as the visible presence of the Lutheran traditions in HIV/AIDS interfaith dialogue and gatherings.
