Union africaine et malgache (Groupe de Brazzaville)
12 Sep 1961. Instrumental in setting up the following bodies: D-XD0013 - African Intellectual Property Organization; D-XE4873 - Agency for the Safety of Aerial Navigation in Africa and Madagascar; H-XD0014 - African Posts and Telecommunications Union (APTU), initially referred to as 'Union africaine et malgache des postes et des télécommunications (UAMPT)'. Merged, 10 Mar 1963, with the then 'Organisation africaine et malgache de coopération économique (OAMCE)', initially referred to as 'Union africaine et malgache de coopération économique (UAMCE)', successor to 'Organisation africaine et malgache de coopération économique (OAMCE)', and subsequently H-XD0324 - African and Mauritian Common Organization. The merger dissolved in 1985 and activities were taken over by H-XD3027 - OAU.
