18 Jul 1990, Calgary (Canada), as Continental Europe Simulation Council (CESC), within the framework of F-XF1389 - Society for Modeling Simulation International (SCSI), at annual meeting of SCSI Board of Directors, and following setting up of an SCSI European Office, 1986. Name changed to European Simulation Council (EuSC) in 1992, after the dissolution of UK Simulation Council. Became an independent organization in 2004, when adopted present title.
Promote research and development priorities in modelling and simulation in Europe; promote corporate interests/priorities of European simulationists on the international scene.
