Also referred to as European Young Christian Workers (EYCW) -- Jeunesse ouvrière chrétienne européenne (JOC), as Jeunesse ouvrière chrétienne internationale - Secrétariat européen and as Young Christian Workers - Europe -- Jeunesse ouvrière chrétienne - Europe (JOC Europe) -- Juventud Obrera Cristiana - Europa -- Christliche Arbeit Jugend - Europa. Assisted in setting up, 1945, Brussels (Belgium), the International Young Christian Workers (IYCW), known also as 'JOC internationale'. Became international itself in 1957. Functions as the European branch of 'JOC internationale'.
