Founded 15 Jun 2002, Montréal QC (Canada), to act as representative of counsel before F-XF4580 - International Criminal Court (ICC).
Aims
Ensure that counsel are able to practice in total independence before the International Criminal Court (ICC), and the right of defence is completely respected in the procedures before the ICC; ensure protection for victims and their reparation; respect human rights and application of the Convention of Rome; promote development of an independent legal profession and practice before the ICC; develop criminal policy and promote core principles of justice; provide assistance to lawyers who defend victims and defendants before the ICC; facilitate effective communication between the Court and lawyers.
