Established by merger of 'Seminario Lombardo per le Missioni Estere', set up in 1850, and 'Pontificio Seminario dei Santi Apostoli Pietro e Paolo di Roma', set up in 1874.
Conduct missionary activity and, in particular, the evangelization of peoples and groups of people who are not yet Christians.
Depends directly on the E-XF2610 - Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples (CEP). Internal authority exercised by General Assembly, by the Superior General with his Council, by Regional and Delegate Superiors, assisted by their respective Councils. The Institute is divided into Circumscriptions and their respective local communities.
