European Robotics Research Network (EURON)
EURON I (1999 - 2004); EURON II (2004 - 2008) is the direct continuation of EURON I. Network under the 6th Framework Programme (FP6), funded as part of the Information Society Technologies (IST) Future and Emerging Technologies (FET) programme on "Beyond Robotics". Ceased to exist when superseded by F-XJ7523 - euRobotics, Sep 2012.
Implement and maintain a network of excellence that allows coordination of research, teaching and education and academic-industry collaboration in the field of robotics throughout Europe; provide a primary portal for information about European robotics to other interested parties outside Europe.
