History

8 Sep 1992, Frankfurt-Main (Germany). At 2nd Meeting, 11 Feb 1993, Brussels (Belgium), EURAMI became a European Economic Interest Grouping (EEIG-EWIV), and first Statutes were adopted. Experiences of further work turned out, however, that some regulations of a European scientific community of interests do not correspond with the objectives and tasks of EURAMI, and therefore, at 4th meeting, 4 Mar 1994, London (UK), new Statutes were adopted and EURAMI was registered in accordance with German law, under the official name: European Aero-Medical Institute (EURAMI) e V - Centre for Education, Information, Research and Supply.

Aims

Within the framework of medical aspects of the air rescue component of rescue services / emergency medical aid: promote, harmonize and generalize air rescue worldwide; facilitate, develop and increase practical work of members; guarantee step by step an equally high level of air rescue throughout the world.
