Sep 1973, Singapore (Singapore), as a project of E-XE0390 - International Development Research Centre (IDRC). Became independent Jan 1980. Technonet Centre registered in accordance with Singapore law.
Aims
Improve quality and efficiency of production in small and medium scale industrial enterprises; provide technical information and industrial extension services; foster motivation of potential and development of existing entrepreneurs; facilitate technology sharing/transfer opportunities; initiate industrial joint venture opportunities; carry out research on specific sectors of industry on a regional basis; organize conduct of technical extension workshops.
