Founded 8 Jan 1991, by the stock exchanges of 5 Central American countries. Previously referred to as Association of Central American Stock Exchanges - Asociación Centroamericana de Bolsas de Comercio. No activities reported since 2008.
Promote, develop and contribute to adequate performance of Central American stock exchanges; incorporate private and public productive sectors; promote programmes and seminars at national and regional level so as to improve human capacity involved in the stock exchange; promote establishment of relevant systems and mechanisms, including interconnection of electronic mail and use of stock exchanges as deposit custodians of other Central American countries.
