Facilitate access of regional governments, local authorities and community organizations to microdata, tabulations and documents connected with population; strengthen members' capacity to utilize census, survey and registration data through transfer of appropriate technology in documentation and electronic data processing; improve exchange of information within the region and between Latin America and other regions; provide technical cooperation, opportunities for specialized training and regional services in population information.
