10 Apr 1975, Viña del Mar (Chile), following Resolution No 24, 10 Apr 1975, during the 6th Meeting of Ministers of Education of signatory countries to the F-XD4506 - Convenio Andrés Bello de integración educativa, cientifica y cultural de América Latina y España (Convenio Andrés Bello), of which it is a specialized entity.
Aims
Serve as a specialized organization of educational, cultural, scientific and technological integration in areas bordering on the signatory countries to the Andrés Bello Convention; promote integration through education and human resources capacity building; develop renewed ideas on integration based on universal human values; develop activities oriented to this field.
