The Intergovernmental Certificate of Degree Equivalence (ICDE) initiative is making significant progress in the People‘s Republic of China.
Since the establishment of the EDU-IGO China Representative Office, the project has successfully:
Completed all necessary local licensing and compliance reviews.
Launched the official Chinese platform at eduint.org.cn to provide verification services and localised support.
Received its first batch of applications from graduates of partner institutions, demonstrating tangible demand from the Chinese academic community.
This pilot phase is building a foundation for broader international cooperation and aims to provide a credible, authoritative credential verification pathway for students and professionals in the region.
