Documenting international co-operation

Since its foundation in 1907, the Union of International Associations (UIA) has been documenting the nature and evolution of international civil society. Today, the UIA is the oldest, largest and most comprehensive source of information on global civil society and a unique repository for current and historical data on the work of international associations.

The SSAI Congress is a bi-annual meeting meant for the professionals of the field of anaesthesiology. The congress is held in a different Nordic city that holds a University Hospital each time – the congress is held in Finland every ten years. In 2024, the honor was granted to Oulu.

title:Fab Lab Conference to land in Oulu, Finland in 2027

The international Fab Lab Conference will take place in Oulu in August 2027

The Fab Lab Conference is an annual event that rotates globally. In 2024, the conference took place in Mexico. The conference is organised in partnership with the Fab Foundation and the average number of participants is around 800 people. The City of Oulu will act as the responsible organiser and the University of Oulu as a partner.
